The objective for this project was to allow as much natural light as possible into this north facing residence, and to modernise the entire home. With the help of interior designer Engineer Areej Al Khatib, we achieved this by removing all of the walls from the living, dining and kitchen area, leaving only the supporting columns which we incorporated into the housing of the tv and fireplace unit. We installed large floor to ceiling windows where possible which created a bright, spacious open plan living area. In addition, we entirely renovated the bathrooms and bedrooms, and introduced modern furniture, fixtures and fittings throughout.
